-Hair must be tied back if hanging on the shoulders.
-Hair extentions must be kept modest.

No make-up or permanent make-up allowed even during events where school uniform is worn.

Nails:
-No nail polish.
-Keep short and clean.
Jewellery:
-Must be limited to 1 small round gold/silver stud in each ear.

SPORT
FOUNDATION PHASE
(Gr. 1-3)
The daily sport uniform is the same as the school uniform.
​
Please do not pack in casual clothes.
​
Matches:
If there are specific requirements for matches, this will be communicated to you in advance.
INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR PHASE (Gr. 4-7)
Learners in this phase change into the sport uniform from Mondays to Thursdays after school on the day they have sport.
​
Monday to Friday they wear the formal uniform.
​
Please do not pack in casual clothes.
​
Matches:
If there are specific requirements for matches, this will be communicated to you in advance.
Sport Rules:
-
Learners at El Marine wear their sport uniform as part of their school uniform (Gr1-3) throughout the day unless a specific uniform is prescribed for matches (this will have to be packed in so learners can get changed into it after school).

Under no circumstances may learners wear casual clothes during our sports period.

Learners who participate in Netball must wear tackies and will not be allowed to play barefoot.

Learners must bring the appropriate sport uniform when taking part in matches against other schools.
-
If a learner is sick, a letter must be written and signed by a parent or guardian to excuse their child from sport practice or matches.
CASUAL DAYS
On days where casual clothes are allowed:
Learners are not allowed to wear beachwear, tight fitting clothes, clothes that are see-through, too revealing and/or too short on casual days.
